L managed to message us just as she was boarding a flight from Canada to return home a few days before the borders were closing in March. She explained that they were a family of five adults who were looking to buy a house and in the interim were going to rent a small house whilst they complete the 14 days isolation. In order to make isolation more bearable they were looking for a tent to enable them to store their belongings in the garden creating more living space in the house. There were also looking for a single mattress and tv so a number of separate spaces can be created.
We were able to put a call out for these items on our Facebook page and managed to source everything but the TV, which L managed to borrow from a friend of theirs who lived locally.
Moving items into the garage, shed or even a tent could mean that an extra room in your house is liberated to create a quiet room, a home office, or games room for the kids. If you need something to make that work, give us a call and we will see what we can do. The Manx public are an amazing people, we are in this together, let us work together to make it work for us all.
